Waterfowl Rescue
We have been established as a nonprofit organization since October 2022. Ducks have become such a passion of ours that we are happy to expand our journey to rescuing and rehoming ducks in need.
We are dedicated to the care and well-being of all animals. Our goal is to provide a safe and comforting space for waterfowl rescue and rehabilitation. We will advocate for these beautiful animals by providing education on the care and needs of waterfowl. We are happy to provide a sanctuary for these animals however we ultimately want each one to find a loving home.

Why Do Domestic Ducks and Geese Need Rescuing?
Domestic Waterfowl Cannot Survive in the Wild
Domestic ducks and geese cannot fly
They cannot migrate seasonally for food and warmth
They face malnutrition and starvation
They lack immunity to most diseases
They are stuck in a gray area, as most shelters do not consider them companion animals and wildlife rescue organizations do not consider them wild. Many veterinarians lack the training to help abandoned injured ducks.
Domestic waterfowl cannot survive in the wild. They have been bred to be larger and to grow faster than their wild waterfowl counterparts. Domestic breeds have lost their ability to fly. Most are too heavy, their feathers not long enough, and their muscles not developed properly.
Many domestic ducks and geese who live in the wild are very vulnerable to predators.
They also cannot find their own food as they have been bred to depend upon humans for their meal sources.
