Frequently Asked Questions

Duck Eggs: FAQ

Can I Eat Duck Eggs?

Absolutely! We use our duck eggs for everything from Sunnyside up eggs (my favorite) to baking! The yolks are very rich and full of flavor and seem to make our baked goods fluffy and so tasty.

Are Duck and Chicken Eggs the Same?

No! Duck eggs are usually much larger than chicken eggs. Duck eggs are actually higher in Zinc, Vitamin B12, Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Folate. For more information on the benefits of duck eggs, I recommended reading: Duck Eggs vs. Chicken Eggs.

How Do You Store Duck Eggs?

When we first collect our duck eggs and we confirm they are not fertile with an egg candler, they are placed on the counter for 1-2 weeks at most. The eggs are then washed and placed in the refrigerator where they can stay fresh for up to 3 months. How Long Do Fresh Eggs Last

Where Can I Buy Your Eggs?

We are at the Farmer's Market at All Saints Brewery from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday's April-November.

We also keep eggs in stock in the barn at the Sarver Hill Farm in Greensburg.

Orders are available at the farmer's market for pickup.
